What we do during a Performance Tune-Up:
Spring Tune-Up
- Inspect condenser coils
- Clean condenser coils
- Test starting capabilities
- Clear condensate line
- Inspect blower
- Inspect evaporator coil (if accessible)
- Check operating pressure
- Measure for correct air flow
- Check electrical connections
- Measure volt/amps on motor
- Lubricate moving parts
- Measure system refrigerant charge
- Measure temperature difference
- Check/change air filter when applicable
Fall Tune-Up
- Test starting capabilities
- Inspect burner assembly
- Check ignition assembly
- Check operating pressure
- Check thermostat calibrations
- Monitor flue draft *Test safety controls
- Clear condensate drains
- Inspect blower
- Measure for correct air flow
- Lubricate moving parts
- Check thermostat calibration
- Measure temperature difference
- Check/change air filter when applicable
